Being introduced to DAW’s (Digital Audio Workstation applications) allowed him not to be limited to just playing the piano but to use other instruments to create music as well. “A Little Closer To You” is a collection of his original compositions which creates the impression of having his own band. The songs in this album were inspired by Romel’s love for God, his family, and the beautiful little things that we see around us that we so often take for granted.

The Music of Romel Pasetes
Romel Pasetes was introduced to music at an early age when his parents enrolled him in piano lessons, which at the time he did not enjoy. This changed when at the age of 11 he discovered that he was able to play songs which he heard on the radio "by ear". From this point forward, he developed a life-long passion for music, and his skills improved as he watched and allowed himself to be influenced by many great piano players.
